Please Identify My Fathers St. Dupont Lighter

Post by dravidham » Wed Jun 03, 2015 8:27 am

Good morning all.

As above I wondered if somebody would be kind enough to identify the model/age and approximate value of my dad's St.Dupont Lighter. He's owned it for many years - since the 1970's; however he is not the original owner. It comes with French documentation but no retail box. It looks to have never been used and as such bears no general marks from usage.

I attach a number of photos of the actual lighter although they are not the greatest quality - this is a hard object to capture on camera! - I have taken a photo of every side of the lighter but in keeping with the forum upload limits I attach three for your kind review. I will upload some more in a moment via a separate post within this thread.

Any assistance that some of you might be able to offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

David.

its a ligne 1 large.

it's definitely older as you said, you can tell because the serial number is only 6 digits.

I can't tell you the exact age, but wouldn't be surprised if it was made in the 70s, when you said he got it.
