please help me identify an old Dupont lighter

Post by david78 » Sun Jul 05, 2015 5:52 pm

Hello guys and girls!

I joined your forum today, because of an old Dupont lighter that belonged to my grandfather that was given to me; my father told me it was my grandfathers lighter and that he bought it in the 60's. Where is unknown, but given that we live in The Netherlands i expect it to be bought in Holland. unfortunately, only the lighter is there but no boxes or anything.

Anyway, after doing some reading on these lighters, i found out that there are a lot of Dupont gurus here, and i would like to please ask you guys to take a look at this lighter. I'd like to know what kind of model it is and what the value might be? I don't want to sell it, but i am just curious.

PS: if i turn the wheel on it, it still sparks but has no gasoline inside it. I guess it should work after filling.
