these lighters are great just as reliable as bic without the annoying saftey guard, with replaceable flints and gas and they cost the same $2.50 at my local tobacconist or about $3.50 delivered to your door off ebay, i am aware they are not technically disposable but at the same price range and the rate that lighters are stolen or lost they pretty much are.

i always like the cheap refillables for taking with me or etc. I don't usually carry around my fancy lighters regularly.
i used to have a couple of cheap ronson refillables, although they did break after a while. They were piezo electric though, and I find over time the piezo mechanisms stop working. Flint lighters seem more resilient over time.
