Antique Lighter

Post by TheZaric » Wed Feb 06, 2013 11:43 am

Hey fellas,
I found this really old lighter in my basement a few days ago.
I've scoured the internet for something similiar but i can't seem to figure out what it is.

I made a video about it, hopefully someone can help me figure it out!
I want to say it's an old dunhill, judging by the bottom screw. At the same time, i'm probably not as well versed in antique lighters as you gentlemen.
Any input would be mighty appreaciated!!
Thanks in advance!

No Help, guys?
I'm dying to know :(

Looking at lighter's of similar design, i'd say it was from the 50's.

Neco flip lighter has the same three hole design. Some other lighters from the 50's had something like it, but all different brands.
I'm inclined to think it's a knockoff or mass produced piece of historical garbage. I'll continue using it anyway, just want to know what im lighting my smokes with :)

can't say I know too much about it, you couldn't find any brands or labels anywhere? I'm guessing they might be worn off, as it looks well used. I can't say I know too much about it off hand, it looks like it could be pretty old.
